Keep your eyes open for elk. A bull was just taken in your County, Giles in sw Virginia. First in 60 years.

First in 60 years??, I think I'd want to build a little larger herd than of just one before I start blasting. JMO
Hopefully, there is a large herd slowly moving back in.
Joe, Virginia State, in partnership with the Va. Chapter of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, have established herds farther west in Va. This one was probably driven away and wandered 50+ miles out of that area.
I know the nimrod father. They are serious hunters.
Yep, apparently he killed the only elk in the county.
