Sling Hooks & Eyes

I have rifles with sling "eyes" on them; a 54 Winchester, a 99 Savage, and Remington 30. These are not the common studs as seen on most rifles today. They accepted hook swivels. A gun show exhibitor called them "Winchester swivels" which I find hard to believe since I have Savage and Remington rifles with the eyes. MY questions: What other guns members here have seen with these eyes? The swivels were last listed in the Stoeger's catalog in the mid 50's; I have never seen a set in use (except on my 99 that I took to a gun show looking for a scope base), anyone here seen them in hunting camp, etc.?

This is an 'old time' quick detachable option. I haven't seen any 'modern' rifles with this set up.
Mobuck, Of course it's pretty much a given that todays rifles are never set up that way. But I would think that there are still those of us that hunt with "Grandpa's Rifle" and I'm sure several members here collect old guns. I can't be the only one with guns with sling eyes.
just so you know what these are
Got them on my '94 Winchester that I purchased in 1958.
