Tomorrow evening it will go into the smoker with apple wood for two hours and then low heat until desired results. This is a new recipe for us, so I hope it turns out okay. We normally use a jerky shooter and cook in the oven.
This is the recipe we are trying: Deer Jerky Teriyaki Smoked Recipe | Traeger Grills
Some friends tried an air fryer recipe that turned out really well, but she was not very happy about having to reset the unit a bunch of times.
Does anyone have a successful smoker recipe they are willing to share?

Wooo sounds good.
When I make Jerky, I never tell anyone.................
This spring was the first time I tried making jerky on a dehydrator, seemed to come out ok, I just used the Backwoods brand marinade. May try and make my own marinade using Teriyaki sauce, tender quick, brown sugar and a little vinegar.
I’ve had jerky from a smoker before, that’s probably the best way to make it, hard to beat the flavor of good smoked jerky.
I'm not convinced that we're talking apples to apples here.
p e r v ...........
Well, with some tweaking on cook time, this batch turned out awesome. Excellent flavor and moist, with just enough smoke.
I will definitely be using this one again. 🤪
Ohhh yeah, looks real good!!!!
Makes me hungry just thinking about it.....
I’m salivating. Looks delicious.
Hopefully I will get a few batches of jerkey made this weekend.I usually do brown sugar and teriyaki flavor
