I" insulation board....Fitted top that can be removed for cleaning inside. 2nd insulated top just for the added insulation and finally the plastic tote cover to seal it off and make it waterproof. She has slept in it a few nights and seems fine with it.. I cut a hole in the front that she can easily get in and out and it still cuts off most of the heat loss.

Heck yeah, that'll work good.
Working your way to being, almost spoiled, Martha. Well done.
Yeah, she has us just where she wants us for sure !!!
Purrfect
Looking good. My wife has an apartment complex constructed on my back porch. Besides the 8 indoor cats (don't ask) there are 8-12 outdoor cats, 3 racoons, 2 possums, and a skunk out there. Lord, get me out of here.
Free range in winter? Man you mean. She's gonna run off again.
The really cold nights we will move her shelter into the garage where it never falls below 35
Very similar to what I built for Zoe our outdoor cat that the dog adopted. We added a heated pad and some fleece scraps.
That's the cats meow!
Martha's got it made, that's for sure!!
