I limped home Monday night with a large sheet metal screw in my RR tire. Went to GP yesterday and heart doctor today. Also took Willie Jr to vet today for a shot. He is doing fine. Found out my old Vet had passed away. Very sad for me. He was a great guy. A master shooter in Small Bore and we shot together in Winter League at West Point. He was on the rifle team at Cornell. Will have more to say right here when i am feeling better. ------------------------Ray
I found my old Vet's obit. He died in Austin Texas at age 91 on Oct 7, 2023. Sadly, his love for shooting was not mentioned in the obit.

Glad you made it home. Sorry you lost your vet and a friend. The older we get, the less of us there are.
Glad Willie is doing good. Now you gotta get that tired fixed.
There's nothing like the relief of getting home. Glad you made it.
I edited my original post. I see no harm in showing my Vet's name in case you would like to look up his obit. Michael H. Gilman, DVM. Died in Austin ,Texas on October 7th, 2023. His obit is in The Times Herald Record.
I have had two Echos, Nuclear Stress test and a Angiogram a few weeks ago. No blockage in my heart. Had open heart surgery about seven years ago and they put implant in my mitral valve. I got pretty much a good exam from my heart doctor yesterday. This AM my GP claims blood test revealed elevated heart failure test. He sent report to Cardioligist. I really don't feel that well.
If you would please say a prayer for me. --------------------------Ray
Prayers said.
