Load for 235 gr full wadcutter in New Ruger Vaquero

Just purchased a new model Ruger Vaquero in 45 Colt cal. What is a safe load for that gun with a 235 gr full wadcutter? Have reloaded for over 40 years so, have a fair knowledge on pressure with a full wadcutter verses a semi-wadcutter. Any info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The LYMAN RELOADING HANDBOOK, 49th Ed. has eleven loads for a 230 gr. swaged lead flat nose bullet, that is 'almost' a full wadcutter. The potential most accurate load is 6.3 grs of Titegroup for 895 fps. None of my older Manuals show loads for a full wadcutter bullet. Perhaps contact the bullet or mold manufacturer. Good luck.

I thought Rugers were over built to shoot anything?

    Yosh,

The "new" new model Rugers are built on the slightly smaller frame comparable to Ruger's original .357 magnum frame as opposed to the "old" new models which are on the .44 magnum frame. The cylinder diameter & length is also slightly smaller.
