S&W Equalizer

truthfultruthful Member Posts: 2,106 ✭✭✭✭

Looking at an Equalizer as a candidate for a new all around carry, truck, and home gun. I like the EZ slide racking that is easy on my old hands, and also the grip and thumb safeties that more or less simulate the 1911 duty guns I carried for years. Anybody have any experience with these, good or bad?

Couldn't you just get a Springfield XD?

I bought one almost a year ago. Approximately 350rds though it. Several different types/weights of ammo. NO FTF or FTE. Decent accuracy. Only issue I have had is with the grip safety. I have large fleshy hands, from time to time my purchase on the grip did not engage the grip safety and the firearm would not fire.... I let others fire it and they did not have any issues with it...

Other than that, I really like the firearm...
