So in the past week we have had below zero temps, snow, ice, freezing rain and regular rain. Today we have rain with fog, a flood and flashflood alert, boot sucking mud over the ankles and temps projected to be in the 60's next week. Gotta love it.
Never a dull moment!
We have been experiencing most of what you described. The good part up here has been the snow and rain. It has been good to watch water running into the neighbor's lake and our fields soaking it up !
Pretty much the same here in central Illinois.
pouring rain and mid 50's here in the Derby City today going above 60 tomorrow.
Yep. Ground, rivers, lakes and streams all needed replenishment. When we went gigging it was touch and go in some areas the water was so low.
North MO is experiencing some actual runoff. Ditches and creeks that have been dry for months have 2-3" of water running.
1 degree here 4 days ago and 15 inches snow. Today light rain, 60 degrees and almost no snow showing except on north side of hills.
Susie, you got hills don't you?
Teens and twenty over the weekend . 70' s for today and next 2 days . Who says you can't have winter and summer in the same week . North Carolina is " hold my beer and watch this !"
Where I live in Michigan it has snowed in every month except August.
Pulsarnc, my report was form WNC.
Don't like the weather stick around for a few hours
Yep. Gravel roads that run north/south still had some snow/iced areas this morning.
Pretty much the same weather here in SW Missouri. Snow, then ice, and now rain / flooding, fog & mud.
I got stuck behind a line of cars with the lead car going 15mph in a 55mph on Hwy 160 last night. Yes the fog was bad but not 15mph in a 55 bad. I finally was able to pass him when the other cars turned off. He was driving S____box and probably stoned.
If you are going to drive that slow, pull off the road and let the line of cars behind you go by!!!
Amen, driving 15 mph on a 55mph road has the making to get people hurt.
Butchdog , I am in wayne county area.
