one of the few things helping me cope these days is the little time i can stay at the workbench
now i lost that for a week or two...
combination of very hard spot, and a very sharp chisel that slipped out...
and the doc didnt waste any gauze when she wrapped either,
so besides the bulk of the mummy hand, i cant grasp either because of the pull on the stitches
now i am reduced to the 'puter and (yuck) t.v. to try to stay amused

Rub some dirt on it and get back to work! 😂

Ouch, that don't look fun at all...
Hope that is not your wiping hand. Sometimes requires practice to use either hand equally well.
Stay prepared. Boy Scout motto.
How do I know this stuff. Has been forced it on me few times. I can also shoot a rifle left handed really good, and also hammer drive nails all day long with either hand.
I'm now Am·bi·dex·trous

Ouch
l hope it heals up fast for you
You do know there are people that will look at that photo and will feint and wake up face down on their keyboard don't you??
My dad was like that. That pic would either have him barfing or passed out.
As a kid I so enjoyed doing things that would have Dad sprinting to the closest toilet or sink!!! Great sport!!😂🤣😂
Hope that heals quickly!!
dip in kerosene and pack with axle grease good as new
Are you related to my departed dad
Lol
Ole timers would lay the lamp oil to it then coal soot. Many of fellows running around with black scars
My departed MIL had a scar like that from her childhood
We used kerosene and or a preparation called Pinee. Pinee was / is a distillation of oil from the longleaf pine .
Owww, that hurt all the way to Indiana.
I hope the chisel is ok
