Late fawns

Atypical whitetail behavior. Been spotting bucks chasing does in the area. Brother said a friend of his said he saw a buck chasing a doe last week. I saw a buck this evening hanging out with a couple of does.
If we are having late rut we have the possibility of fawns in the woods during deer season. It will be interesting to see what happens.

In north Texas the white-tail season runs Nov - Beginning of Jan and I was seeing a lot of Fawns running with the Does during December, Last Week I scared about 6 does in my bottom pasture while on the tractor.2 of them were still small/young, but their spots were gone. I usually only see bucks around here two or three times a year and they are usually young ones in Spring or right before the season starts in Fall.
The bucks might still have a slight inkling from time to time this time of year. But as in the world of boys and girls, it’s still totally her decision. Women/does usually have better judgement than men on these matters. Lol
I saw a tended scrape in Wis. this week?
Things have settle down here in Central MO.... Some bucks have dropped their antlers and there are a few out there with one on still.. I have a picture on the game camera of bucks running together already.
Pulled pics from this weekend. At least two are still fully antlered here in SEMO. Showed up at different times so they are still running separate.
