Brought home a partner for our other dog (Raven) yesterday. Another “Pound Special.” Great personality, and a neat mix. He should be a good match for our first one. Now I just need some livestock for them to herd, and they’ll be in Heaven!

So far, so good. We’re easing into it, but they’ve been playing great, and seem to complement each other really well. Raven is no-nonsense, all business, like a working dog. Huey is so easy-going, and a bit of a super-happy goofball. Makes me think there is a pinch of lab in him somewhere.

Husky and some terrier? Good luck.
Good question. I think he’s probably a mix of a mix. He has eyes like a husky or Australian Shepherd, some features that look like Border Collie, and the personality of a lab. I think he’ll work out great.
