What do the initials on the grips stand for?? (size lg to sm) "A W D & Co". (perhaps WDA &Co, etc)? My research has turned up nothing. No where is this addressed, Flayderman's, etc. This has been a real mystery. Hope someone can solve the puzzle. Thanks, J.B. St. Augustine

Answer may be found in Shattuck Arms Co., Hatfield, Mass, historical records held by the heirs of CS Shattuck. Which heirs and where those records are is unknown. Perhaps someone knows the whereabouts of those family members.
