Bad Dream
Yesterday morning at 5AM I had a bad dream. I had purchased a Brand New Impala that looked to be about 30 years old. The young salesman was so proud to present the car to me. The car was immaculate and salesman said "We even undercoated it for you". He popped up the hood on car and they had undercoated the entire engine compartment. I could not see anything ( alternator, water pump, hoses, radiator) I mean nothing except undercoating. It was horrible so I went back to sleep and woke up too late 8:30AM to let Willie Jr. out of his cage. Yes, he took a dump in his cage which he never does.
Yesterday evening I came out of Shoprite with my groceries and there was a pompous man right in front of the exit door in fire lane loading his groceries in front of his truck under the hood. I got home and checked out that beast on my puter. It was a Rivian R1T and starts at $70,000. Zero to 60 in three seconds. Even has a optional grill you pull out in middle of truck.
I also read yesterday that Cummings is in big trouble for the Diesels that they put in quite a few years in the Rams. Appears they fudged the pollution stats.
All this in one day seems like a Omen to me. Is the Government coming to take away the internal combustion engine in my Ram? ------------------------------------Ray

Maybe. Does it have a Big Horn?
I doubt the govt wants it, should tear up on its own soon enough! 😁
Just sayin'
Yep, all the bells and whistles which i really did not need. Get around 22mpg when I am headed south on I81 with 5.7 engine. Four years old now with Zero problems.----------Ray
Not seeing internal combustion engines being replaced any time soon. Still takes too long to charge batteries and charging infrastructure is, and will remain, inadequate for quite some time. My State Senator tells me that there is no plan in place to increase power stations here in MN and no consensus on what would fuel them. Nuclear is still the only practical option and that is still a NIMBY concept. Electric vehicles operating in MN only get about 60% of the claimed mileage in winter.
Love me a 1994 Impala in mint condition. A ride like that would be worth sending to Lingenfelter to boost up the stock LT1.
