Hit the indoor range on Friday....Fired a couple different 45's. 40 rds fired at 7 yards, one mag of off hand and another one hand only. It was my break between working on Taxes !!!
Anyone else headed do any shooting this weekend ?

I went. I shot. Not as accurate as you @William81 but still had fun. 😊
And, while at the indoor range, I learned they have 3 flavors of Sig Sauer P320 to rent. I know what I'm shooting next time!

Well, don't keep us in suspense, what? Don
not here........work
I've been shooting that Kimber 357 I got recently quite a bit. 400+ rounds for sure. Also shot quite a bit of 5.7x28 recently. My wallet can't take much more..
I picked a Ruger SFAR and took it to the range Friday. Shooting at 25yds, I sighted in the red dot:
And flip up iron sights:
Need to adjust both at 100yds.
The trigger pin walked on me midway through the 3rd magazine. This morning I flipped the trigger pin around and now the hammer spring seems to be properly retaining it.
It's LOUD!!!
Ruger calls that muzzle brake a "Boomer Brake" and says it reduces recoil by 30%. I think they should've called it a Louden Boomer brake. I have a flash hider on order that will work with my Dead Air Nomad-L suppressor.
Good shooting drobs ...
I went to my range, but I didnt shoot, I finished my tie and sand backstop. (I would never shoot into the water) I also hung a gong in front of the backstop. Have to figure out a better way to make it gong. Maybe the wires I used are too heavy?
Does shooting the bull count?
Around here it sure does !!🙃
Nice shooting guys.
Nope, no shooting for me.
I went. Didn't get to shoot. Put my cousin's skeet thrower together that was sitting in his garage for 2 years. Finished putting rubber hoses on the peg board hooks. Put some deck boards on his hunting stand. Discussed with my cousin about putting a 14x20 pavillion where the picnic tables to put a roof over the shooting area.... And a fire pit. Maybe we will do the pavillion after we finish his hunting shack... Playing house.
My wife won't be happy about a pavillion in the pasture and not in our backyard but it will be telephone poles and used lumber. Only buying screws and steel roof. It won't be the prettiest but economical.
The way our state's gun laws are going, it's kinda like DUI laws..... A lot of Farmers quit going to bars and built their own bars
in their shops that put the "mancave" to shame. I'm not gonna waste my time making a bar but making our own family gun range might be the best way to go.
awsome
