how i sharpen my chisels, and sometimes even new xacto blades (sometimes they just arent that sharp !)

so this is PART of my stone collection, some were my g-dads, adding to the "olde" in the name...

    It's great to have ancestors tools.

    I spent one hour a day for a month in VO-AG class learning how to sharpen a draw knife.

    It didn't pass muster until it could shave arm hair anywhere on the edge.

    I learned more than one lesson in that exercise.

    draw knife isnt too bad, try sharpening a chair scoop

    curved draw knife for those shallow "butt dents" in a wood seat
