Sell not responsive

I won an auction for an antique firearm two weeks ago. I mailed a bank cashiers check and it arrive to them on Tuesday last week. They are not answering the phone or responding to emails. It was for $2600. I see that gunbroker protects for $400 but wow, did I get scammed, is that a thing on here. Sorry I am new to gunbroker.

What a sad affair. That's terrible.
What gun was it?
Got a link to the auction?
Me personally I'd slowly be making travel plans to investigate, but give them time first, unexpected things do happen in life but the final results would be up to the seller.

I have bought a lot of guns here on GB and never had anything but positive results from whoever I bought from.
I hope it is something understandable like computer problems, death in the family, or the opposite, a new baby.
If it was me I would call the local police department and ask to talk to someone and tell your story.
From my personal experiences on GB I would bet this works out for you.
Let us know what happens.
Road trip if it was me how close or far are they from you
Also Agree call the police in their town And posible " wire fraud" i think it's called charges ?
Did you check their feedback? Or other listings Comes to mind
Sad to think some one would post one item ? Just to scamm one buyer
Contact GB support ASAP!
Very sorry to hear this. As said above, get in contact with GunBroker support which is on the auction side. Here in the forums, we cannot do anything to help with auction issues except direct you to GB support. After you notify them, be patient and only register your complaint once. Wait for them to respond. Every time you post a complaint, you will be put on the bottom of the list and the wait starts over.
I wish you the best and hope you fully recover either the gun you won or get all of your money back.
