Anyone have an idea or a place I can research for the value of a Colt Ace 1931 three digit serial number with Colt Letter. Thank you.

Here's a couple listings from the auction side of Gunbroker that ought to get you close. If you use the 'Advanced Search' feature near the upper right corner of the auction side pages you may find some more. The Blue Book of Gun Values website would also be a good resource.

Someone with more knowledge than I will probably chime in soon. Good luck and welcome to the forums!

I’ve collect Colt aces and Colt ace service models before. The 3 digit serial number is unique and will help increase value, if you’re wanting to sell it. But with out seeing the gun and the condition it is in is guess work. The letter from colt will help and if you have the original box and paper work that came with the gun is a plus as well. Another unique part of the Colt ace is that there were only a little over 10,000 of them made, 10,745 total to be exact. Production ran from April 1931 to July 1941. If you’re wanting to find out more about the history of Colt aces and Colt ace service models there are several sights with information but I would suggest using Charles Clawson’s books on Colt 45s.
