The first picture is from the game camera, the second was shot on my phone through glass doors and a screen but it was the only time I've seen this guy in daylight. He must be hungry as he chased squirrels for quite a while this morning. I thought that he was a grey Fox but he is red in the daylight.

That’s a nice looking fox. We haven’t seen any around here in the last ten years. Filthy coyotes run them off and would find their pups and kill them I suspect.
The wife almost hit a fox on our road Friday evening. It darted out in front of her, closely followed by the neighbor's two Australian Shepards. She managed to miss all three of them somehow.
My guess it is a grey fox.
No white tip that I can see on the tail.
The thing is, there is no grey on this guy. I watched him run around my yard for about five minutes and I couldn't detect a speck of grey, I actually didn't check his tail as he was darting around so much. He may very well be a grey fox but he's not grey. I'll hopefully get some better pictures soon.
I looked at some other pictures I have of this fox and I believe that it is in fact a grey fox, the tip of his tail looks to be black right at the very tip and there isn't any white that I could see ... so .................. mystery solved. (except he is not grey in color).
I have saw grey foxes that fooled me to, look red but I am pretty sure no white tip no red fox.
Where's HE DOG.
Foxes of any sort are rare around here. Too darned many song dogs'
Saw these guys last fall. First foxes I’ve seen in 9 years here.
i apologize for the picture quality. Cell phone camera thru a window.
See them often here, dont see any sense in shooting them any more, Their food source is mainly rats, mice, and moles. IMHO yotes are targets, foxes are beneficial.
Took these just now ......
No grey

I'd sure call that a RED fox. But I am color blind in my left eye.
So, is that a red or a grey?
RED...
