My daughter has an Epiphone bass from the seventies she wants to sell. What's It worth?

Talked to my brother, he has played in a band over 40 years now as a bass player and collected and built bass guitars. He said that Epiphone was bought by Gibson in the late 60s. After that about 99% were built out side of the country, and depending on condition could be worth $400 to $1000. If made in the United States $1000 to $2000. Again all depending on condition.
I sent a picture of your guitar to my brother. He said that what he can tell from picture guitar appears to be made more likely in the 90s. He estimated, if in good condition $350 to $400.
Thanks, Walter.
looks to be leaning right........
It may be expensive but you can play scales like never before.

There's a couple of Epiphone forums online. You can probably get on one or two of those and get a real good idea about it's value.
And I always thought that you could tune a piano, but you couldn't tuna fish!!
I now stand corrected!
Back in the day. I thought it would be fun to have a band made up by three bass players with three strings. The band would've been named The Young Yoshi's. Did I mention no one has a mike so no one could sing.
We could. But i just got back from the dentist, my mouth is numb, and I'm feeling kinda crappie.

I was considering moving this post to GD, then it started to get fishy and thought about the Fishing Hole.
My confusion started to get to me until I remembered I had this very old power tool hidden away in the back of a closet. It was a "EUREKA" moment!
I will let you all know when I figure out how to get this thread moved into my Bass-0-Matic! π
