As always, a key complaint from ATF was how the agency’s National Tracing Center is required to operate within the law.

Poor babies!
Wonder if they'd like some cheese with that whine?
I feel their pain. 😉
Solution: Get rid of the partisan draconian ATF.
The government could use IQ tests before hiring these losers.
@dunbarboyz - there is a big problem with doing an IQ test - https://www.arcamax.com/thefunnies/shoe/
Any one really think they will follow the rules
Or they destroy all the temporary records their suppose to
Golden rule the laws are for us not them
If all FFL's are closed the government will have all the records.
Once upon a time here you could buy a firearm with a sheriff issued purchase permit and no NICS check.. ATF/NICS had no instant info about the purchase. Now no permits issued, just NICS check. HUMMMM. Read between the lines.
"Once upon a time here you could buy a firearm with a sheriff issued purchase permit and no NICS check.."
HUH?? Once upon a time, you could order a gun from Monkey Wards and the mail carrier would drop on your door step.
Once upon a time, you could buy 'ditching dynamite' from the local hardware store.
Dynomite. Yep used it often to blast out driveways and foundations. Went one day and picked up a couple cases, needed more next day. Seller says yesterday I could have sold you a train load, none today. I felt so much safer after that day.
Was that 9-11 or or Oklahoma bombing that caused the shut down?
Blasting is almost non existent for small jobs now, excavators with hammers are the ticket.
OTC dynamite sale was shut down long before OK City or 9/11.
OK City and the first NY bombing caused the shutdown of ammonium nitrate fertilizer sales.
