Some will die in hot pursuit
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
I got to thinking about some songs when I was a teenager during the Viet Nam war. There were lots of sad songs with ties to the war but these two always got me.....
Can't nail it down to one but my favorites are: Can't Help Falling in Love - Elvis, Somewhere Over the Rainbow - Judy was first but I prefer Israel, Wonderful World - Sam, What a Wonderful World - Louis.
