Well they will find his body in about 40 years, but it will do him no good.

In many areas the cops will not evict him.

Two thoughts. As the homeowner you can have the power and water turned off while you sleep at a local hotel for a couple of nights.

Next thought. Know any bikers?? Leave town for a couple of days so what the bikers do can't be blamed on you.

You know, I don't know nothing I was 800 miles away on vacation!😂

Well finally there is one good thing about Illinois. To claim squatters rights in Illinois you have to have stayed there 20 years and show with proof that you have payed the taxes on the property the whole time. By putting up NO TRESPASSING signs inside the house on the windows and the doors on the inside protects you. If they break the glass or the door to take down the sign they have committed breaking and entering and the sheriff can arrest them.

Now on a personal note. If I were to come home after a while and found that someone had taken up residence in my house. Well the way the country has been changing lately, that might just be the answers to my prayers.
