Some years ago I knew two brothers who had sold and traded in guns since they were in high school always skirting thr ffl laws by the skin of ther teeth and were warned and turned in many times

Any way they always referred to every gun as a piece that always seemed odd but must have helped keep the low profile of saying we have gun(s) for sale less attention ? I never ask

I always wonder what became of that famous Alaskan salesman who's career was selling refrigerators to the Eskimos. Seems he now is selling guns here at GB!
That starter pistol is a non starter for me.
There are brand new pieces that probably have less practical value i.e. - the two new Charter Arms Pitbulls in 9mm and .45acp respectively. Of course the hook is that the new design allows use w/out moonies. In reality - it's a 15 foot gun, at best. Terrible triggers and all around crummy fit/finish, and very hit/miss w/the no moonclip extractor. They will get sent back for rework and probably come back a bit better - but it's still while an unsurprising disappointment - also a PITA.
I am still immersing myself in its unique charm, pondering the charming functionality and enjoying the exciting history it must surely possess.
I would certainly give $20 for this piece of.....history.
But, shipping is $30, so the race is over before it even starts.
It is a Kraut junker that shoots .22 blanks. I think the guy is writing a spoof for a "gun" that is not worth what the shipping costs will be.
