Low rider man

How do you like lowriders? I think they're pretty cool, and yes, I'd have one if I could afford it. As you have probably seen already there are some very fancy riders. It's not just the bounce but the entire bling of the car. Paint jobs that make you wow. Here's a video of lowriders with host Mike Rowe. Cool stuff.

I LOVE lowriders! Going to such lengths to customize a car is something to be admired and appreciated.

I have a fondness for all cars and over the years got liking a lot of different approaches to how they are customized even rat rods took a me a bit to accept LOL

like guns I think most all who like and put effort into their cars or trucks share a bond I use to be a a snob on the people who just walk into a shop with a blank check and say build it or that one who really put no blood sweat and elbow grease into their own car

but got over it and decided it was a dumb thought and just be just glad for them and a bit envious too . Jay leno is my hero for one 😁

but muscle cars and early drag cars are my weakness.

I could not guess the hours I have spent tinkering and working and modifying cars not counting just normal Maintenace. I still have two 69 Camaros ( one is my header photo on here ) but one since about 1975 or so and one I bought about 17 yrs ago

funny but just came in from the garage putting all new front end parts on my wife's honda element as in struts sway bars upper and lower control arms tie rods and ball joints , oh and one sore back 😐️

when I was younger I went thru a lot of cars I would love to have today

but story of my life with little or no funds ( ok same as now 😪 ) I had no choice but sell or trade what I was driving to get another toy

like most things in in life money talks you can have a 500 driver ( I remember use to be 50.00 and you get a running driving car LOL) or upper end have a multi million dollar car(s)

Never had the need for any of my vehicles to jump up and down. But if that is what blows your skirt up.

I find the bouncy suspensions rather amusing and used to love them in Need for Speed Underground 2. And I love the hard work folks put into lowriders and just about anything they put so many hours, or so many hard-earned dollars into making classics live again, doing some nice mods, etc. But I must admit I'm more drawn to practical modifications these days, something that serves a purpose. Daily drivers that are usable on more than just 20% of American roads and weekend toys that are useful at the racetrack or offroad park, that sort of thing.

I can’t imagine spending money on that, but I was every dime of 100k into my racecar over the years I had it, so who am I to judge?

There are a lot of things that make me scratch my head and say "WHY?" Low Riders are pretty far up that list.

Allowing Mike anywhere near expensive items after seeing him destroy them over the years makes great television.

LOL. Well yeah, that is low. I want to see the underside/inside. He actually did a really good job. ^^^^

He should park it over a puddle for that special effect.
