would anyone know if the new vaquero and the new model black hawk have the exact same trigger spring in them? just wondering because i ordered two reduced springs for the black hawk and would use the other in the vaquero if i like the results

I am guessing you refer to the new Vaquero with the slightly smaller frame? I don't have a Vaquero but I have a couple of the small frame .44 Special Blackhawks. Based on those, I am pretty sure the internals are the same as the larger frame/cylinder Blackhawks and Vaqueros.
thanks for the input, all the info i could find is leaning towards the same conclusion although i did read something to the effect that vaquero spring was slightly longer, it didn't say new vaquero, just vaquero. was hoping someone who has changed the (reduced) trigger spring in both models could confirm that the new vaquero and the new black hawk springs were one in the same
Wolff only makes a distinction between Ruger single actions and "early" single actions, which I take to mean Old Models with Colt style action.
thanks hawk, now I'm dangerously close to the answer i need
Well, there' s one way to find out.
I'd call Ruger. I hear they got good customer service.
for those who have followed this thread i will confirm that both trigger springs, new vaquero and new model black hawk, are one in the same if you ever run up against this in your travels thanks again
