I have a small quantity of 7.92x57 Mauser ball ammo with three headstamps as follows, at 120 degrees spacing: 42 7.92 WW (Could possibly be MM, not sure). I couldn't find that headstamp in research.

Unfortunately Gordon "Teak" Cavis is no longer amongst us. He was a moderator on Ask The Experts forum and a cartridge collector. Tailgunner1954 - I have not seen him post in a long - long time. But Dave Call at Ammo One in Maine should be able to answer that if no one else does.

I have both 7X57 and 8X57 Mausers. One possible - possible - possible - (I am not sure) would be:

Československé Muniční a Kovodělné Závody A.S. ("Czechoslovakian Munitions and Metalworking Factories") (1934–1946) – Bratislava

    Best Regards - AQH
