I used to really like that magazine. Forgot about it, I need to resubscribe.
There for awhile I had WAY too many subscriptions, DU, Delta Waterfowl, Smithsonian, National Geographic, etc. I got scroogy and just shut it all down.
thanks, I’ve got some timeshares you should check out!
???
2nd best. The best info is here on these forums and it's always free and flowing. 😁
"...the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." 🍺 🇺🇲 🍔
That's damn true.
I used to be a subscriber and still have a lot of old magazines somewhere I need to look through sometime
Too subjective, dont care at all for it. Spend considerable time at range and dont agree with all their results.
😖
I read a few issues back in the day and didn't care for it or their opinions.
Kinda like the Tesla Cyber truck of magazines…
Their opinions are just that, used to subscribe, stopped after realizing that they were not that good at what they sell, opinions based on their take of operation, feel, accuracy and such that I compared to some of the same firearms they tested and I had several directly opposite outcomes and others that were far enough off that it seemed almost made up.
these are my opinions of their opinions so take that for what it is worth. obviously they hit the mark with most of their subscribers or they would not still be selling their product… same as Consumers is correct…they really aren't as good as they seem to think they are, over the years using their reports on things I had purchased they averaged may 50% on the test reports either good or bad as to what I found in identical product.
I think that's fair Tank. I use it as a starting point. You and I could buy the exact same rifle or pistol, put the same variety of ammo through it - both shoot them w/that ammo, and get consistent, similar results with each of us shooting them - but not have those results be the same btw the two of them. I have had that experience w/my most frequent shooting partner/spotter. Long way of saying - they only test the gun they get, and that one may be good or bad.
Subscribed for a couple of years. They never tested anything I was remotely interested in. O in 2 years?
You're not interested in reading a review on the latest Hi Point?
Ya got me Drobs, I'm a gun snob. I like those big dollar Rugers. Missed you in Tulsa.
Had a go around with them a couple years ago that took awhile to get sorted out.
They sent my account to a collection agency and caused me all kinds of grief….and it was their accounting error !
Still have some old issues from previous subscription years ago, favorite was the evaluation of the AMT .22 magnum auto pistol.
The "final words" was a picture of a thumb and forefinger holding the pistol over a garbage can !
