Guy threatening bad feedback because the gun was drilled to mount the scope mount it has on it

You can't make this stuff up.
I got an email saying "I haven't left a review, but I want to see what you are going to do about this. The gun has six holes in it where the scope mount was added"
I'm confused….but the coffee kicked in and looking at the pictures…..yes, it has a scope mount. How the heck does he think these things are mounted? Is there some kind of fairy dust you guys aren't telling me about that everyone has been using?
I hope he does leave me bad feedback so I can toast him in a reply.

Noooo….this thing has a mount on it….not bare holes. He is upset that is has holes drilled in it……with a mount on the gun…..right there…..plain as day……on the gun.
Tell him you would be willing to resell it for him. He must need the money for a white cane.
I like that idea. And since it's a double sale, feel free to double your commission.

Hey be nice! This is probably a hard worker you guys are talking about!
😁 Bob
if I did your volume of business, I would accept the 1:1000 BS feedback and move on with your business.
The pictures show what he bought & I don’t even have to know what he bought to know that.
He wants to know what you're going to do about it? Based off of his ridiculous demands, I'm confident this is what he looks like.
Any chance that was sent on April 1st?
In instances like this I always wonder if the person is really this much of a pain in the rectal area or is this just someone trying to get something for free.
I guess my fallback thought is always, you can't fix stupid!!😁
not trying to defend him but 'normally' there are only 4 holes, 6 means somebody made a mistake.
Any updates to this story? Has the buyer elaborated on what he actually wants?

I just told him the mount being on the gun means there is going to be holes in it and if he had asked me if there were holes under the mount before he won the gun I would have told him "most likely there are holes drilled in the gun"…..I never heard back. I don't know what he thought my reply would be?
Maybe one of his friends told him what an idiot he is.
Or maybe it's not the only mount that has been installed.
Hopefully, and in front of the "guys" too……….
Hatched (borne) in the middle of the week looking towards Sunday.
He asked has the total eclipse happened yet.
They never know when they live in the dark all time.
send him a tube of JB weld and tell him to fill em…………
If not done correctly, drilled barrels can be dangerous. A friend of mine lost his thumb because he had it wrapped over the top of the barrel, and when he fired off a round, a screwed-in plug blew out and took his thumb with it. Not sure what the problem was but we were thinking that the hole had been drilled too deep or even clear through.
.
I wonder if the buyer is one of the holes.
Comment of the day right there!!! 😂

"I wonder if the buyer is one of the holes."…………….as is A?
I doubt he was referring to donut holes😀😀

Should've told him he got a deal since had you known about the holes they would've cost extra. You're welcome (to the buyer).
Pray for him…..tell him to place a piece of tape over the holes.
I never ship bolt action rifles with the bolt installed. I bubble wrap it separately from the rifle, and then tape it to the bubble wrap on the rifle.
I did this with a Winchester 69 .22 single shot. Buyer claims there was no bolt. I know the bolt was there.
It's possible that someone at the FFL's shop threw the bolt out with the packing or purloined it for personal use. It could be that the buyer only needed the bolt, and claimed it was not there in order to scam one for free. After all, the entire rifle cost less than the bolt assembly from Numrich.
Buyer sent back the stock and barreled receiver and demanded a full refund, including shipping both ways.
SOME of you people advised me to do just as he demanded. I was leaning toward sending him nothing, but I sent him the cost of the rifle only, and he beefed me on feedback. C'est la vie.
Some people just should not buy things they can't lay hands on and examine first.
