I've got two or three of them. They spend half the time drinking nectar, and the other half chasing the other birds away.

Snow in the forecast for Saturday. They better rest up there.
These pics were taken in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina.
It looks like the bird is about to straighten out that wasp. However, I did not see the little bird attack the wasp, he only attacked other hummingbirds.
I think wasps are the only critter that Hummies won't attack. Possibly the only critter they fear.
They are incredible birds (if you're of the opinion that birds are real, like I am), but they are the only bird that regularly attack me.
