Can someone please tell if all E.M.F. Alchimista l l single actions are manufactured by Pietta? Also, on the auction side all the descriptions claim a case hardened finish on the frames . Can someone tell me are they true case hardened are simply liquid applied case colored. They are beautiful and I believe the Bisley type hammer and long thin model 1860 type grip would work well for me. I would appreciate hearing any comments regarding this revolver.

THANK YOU

If it has Pietta proofmarks, it was made by Pietta. There are a number of proofmarks Pietta uses on their firearms. Do a Google search on Pietta proofmarks for examples. Pietta case hardening is genuine. Pietta made firearms for EMF, and many others.
