Newbie Shipping Question

HoosierMDHoosierMD Member Posts: 1

I am new to GB and will make my first sale this week. I am confused about shipping. I know that I must ship the gun to an FFL but am I obliged to use an FFL holder to do the shipping for me or can I just send it myself?

Only if receiving FFL won't accept it from a non FFL holder. Make a phone call to receiving FFL to cover your behind.

    Long gun or hand gun?

Easier to pay your local FFL to ship to his FFL. Oh don't forget all the paperwork your FFL needs from his FFL vice versa.

Now to cover your 6. Film the gun to show the silly thing was complete before boxing and film yourself packing. Also what the box looked like at the time of the hand off. So there won't be any question about bits "missing" or damage. Basically you got proof if they try to do silly crap.
