Depends on the application.
Prefer hammer, but own a few strikers
Prefer strikers but own a few hammers.
Hammer. I feel it allows for more options.
I like them both, but I think my favorite configuration is hammer (e.g. CZ-75, Beretta 92).
I'm a revolver guy so when I do get a bottom feeder it's a hammer fired. Can't expect to much change for a old fart
You just described me, except I do have one striker fired handgun.
I'm with Joe here.
Mainly depends on what I'm wearing and where it'll be located on my person. I have a like for both.

Have a few striker fired there okay prefer hammer fired .
I like hammer fired. Striker fired triggers don't feel as nice to me.

I want a trigger that I don’t have to think about.
I own a lot of striker fired guns and I always swap out the trigger.
A lot of the hammer fired guns I see people push too far and get light strikes or worse, AD’s.
hammer with a hammer-drop safety.
Both have there own best qualities. I feel that the hammer fired is best for a second time hit on a miss fire cartridge.
I like hammer. Being able to drop it again if it don't go "bang" the first time around. You know like in the movies where they keep pulling the trigger for like 5 minuets.
Gun manufactured before 1985 hammer
After 1985 …
well a precocked and ready to just push that trigger a few pounds and so I vote striker
My first choice would be hammer, as in my favorite 9, my Browning HiPower.
But, I'm real easy to please. If it goes "bang" when I squeeze the trigger and hits what I'm aiming at, it is a good gun!!
Both or either work for me…….
Like Dreher, no preference as long as it goes bang .But my usual carry is a PA 63 with a 🔨
Hammer fired Colt 45 Malt Liquor "Dog." VS
I have some of both. The only thing that matters to me is that they go bang when I want them to, and so far they do.
