Out and about on my Bride's Birthday......

Yesterday was my Bride's Birthday. We spend the day touring around the area, eating at one of her favorite places and just being together… One part of the trip was driving through a nice conservation area. It was really a good day..

Near the entrance is a large Bald Eagle's nest about 600 yards away. I managed to get a few shots of the nest. There was an adult in the nest and another one up higher in the tree. Lots of wind made it hard to get a better picture. There was also a "chick" visible part of the time… I was amazed how large the nest really is…

This guy survived the recent turkey season. He was cruising around on the edge of a corn field…
