Just wondering how a item that's had no bids and has no reserve on it as soon as I bid I'm immediately told I've been out bidded but only says one bid? It dont make sense to me if it has no bids then how has a auto bid been put in place to automatically out bid me? Seems like there's a reserve on it right? Or am I missing something?

I think I figured it out. Seems like the sellers are starting penny bids with no reserve then bidding on their own items to set a reserve and for some reason its not showing any bids on the item. If that's the case why even start a penny bid? Why not sell it for what you want or start the bid at your lowest price? Gunbroker needs to fix this or take out auto bid one. What ever you bid is the new bid. Then your not steadily trying to bid on a new listing and get it up too $1000 and keep being outbid when it has no bids to start with
Show me the auction. IF it has NO bids then your bid will be on the screen as high bidder even on a reserve auction but "the reserve not met" caption will show. No such thing as a bid not showing up.
Are you sure nothing is wrong and the system isn't letting you bid?

Hmm, I see auctions all the time here with "reserve not met" and bids show unless I am off the rocker and wrong.
Correct. But as I'm reading it,,,
If the first bid was a penny, and the bidder used auto bid for X amount. Second bidder comes along and bids more than the penny but less than other bidders set amount, auto bid kicks in and second bidder is immediately outbid. That's why I'd like to see the auction, and look at bid history.
this is a real thing i have bid on an item before/// .01 start bid 10.00 and it posts the 10 bid if there is only one bid, the auction should be .01 or maybe 1.00 but something in the software
