on my way to the grocery this morning, i saw on the walking/biking access bordering the highway, a guy and wife walking 2 of the ugliest dogs I've ever seen on leashes. Then i saw the horns! those are full fledged GOATS! out for a healthy Sunday morning stroll. wasn't exactly a power walk, but they were doing a good pace. All this was a good 1/2 mile from the nearest home within sight of the highway. yep, a 1st for me to see that. [no camera with me]

i used to take my goats for walks in the woods
My wife way back when had miniature?goat's they would follow her around the back of the place play and chase like any dog would .
Yep, we used to walk out two little goats as well. Only thing was, they were too smart. When they’d get tired of walking, they’d stop, throw themselves down, and just go limp. Nothing you could do to get them going until they were ready. More than a couple times, I looked out the window to see one of my little girls dragging a limp goat across the yard.
Goat punchers? In Montana? Tell me yer kiddin'!
One morning early when we lived in Palm Harbor, I was driving to where we kept our boat and noticed a guy walking a dog on a leash down the sidewalk, as I got closer I realized that he was actually walking a miniature horse. This was not a rural area but rather an area of really nice, upscale homes.
I've never seen a goat on a leash though.
There is a fella on youtube that hooked his goats up to wheeled cart. He has them pull him around his place.
Now that's cute!

Years ago I saw a guy walking his cat on a leash. Thought it was funny then and still do. Any cat that I've ever owned would be more apt to be dragged if put on a leash and not participate in a walk.
Technically, that's a 'billy' not a 'ram'.
Technically, that is a buck. With goats it is like deer and rabbits, bucks and does.
