Uploading original receipts of rifle and scope in ad to sell

hi there, I intend to sell my rifle and scope on gunbroker.com and I am inclined to upload receipts of both the rifle and the scope so that buyers know what I paid for each and since the rifle was a custom build, so they can see all the parts listed individually. In the for sale ads I’m seeing for rifles of similar caliber, I don’t see a lot of other sellers doing this, and I was wondering if this is somehow frowned upon and if so why? Many Thanks

I can see where it would be useful to see what you paid to build the rifle but I don't believe it will establish the price the rifle is worth. Just my opinion but I have found that is all I have. Don

As above, it will be a point of what the setup costs and not a hack job but doesn't equate what it is worth in todays money..imo. Good luck and post a auction link on the general discussions.

Also another tidbit: Rifles and scopes generally net more dollars overall when sold separately. Post a link to the scope auction in your rifle auction, and vice versa.

I like the idea. It shows exactly what the custom build was. The cost may or may not be relevant to today's value. Someone may be happy to get a custom rifle at less than the cost to build it today. However, the demand for such may be lower unless the maker is well known. Good luck.

whos the builder? better yet post the auction link !!

Although always described as a cowboy, Roswellnative generally acts as a righter of wrongs or bodyguard of some sort, where he excels thanks to his resourcefulness and incredible gun prowesses.
