Code Words for Family to Bug Out

For some time the family has worked out " Code Words" and phrase for different scenarios.

With all the incursions into the Country and attempted access to Military installations, these are the things we think of. Do I dare add political strife. Total Breach of the Constitution?

As well as "AI" impersonation of Voice and video of family.

We have a Bug out Code. And Phrases for multiples duress, and locations.

Bug out for some will be tough, One is 100 miles away, from inside a big city. (there is a back up closer to them) (Bug in for us). And we do have access to a location further out in the boonies.

Just thinking.

Bug out a 100 miles from inside a big city!? They better bug out at the very FIRST sign of bad things. Big cities are not gonna fair well, and will be very dangerous very fast. Im gonna stay right here and hope no one from those big cities have the bright idea to come around.

    Just sayin'

We have code words as well.

    LOCK AND LOAD!

HALT! Put your hands up over your head.

THIS IS PRIVATE PROPERTY ! Turn around and leave immediately.

DON’T COME ANY CLOSER ! This is your final warning.

As soon as the power goes out city's will be gridlocked. I'm 20 miles out of town but I am staying put.

Complicated and difficult, but could work out well.

I live in my "bug out" location so all I gotta do is lock and load.

Pretty sure if it get's to that point, any plans will need to be adjusted, so I just make sure I have enough resources to defend where I'm at, and or move forward when necessary…I'm not on a main road or in a city limit, but will try to survive.

After my discharge from the army I bought a little new house on the NW outskirts of Indy. After 17 years the city expanded and the neighborhood went to heck. I wanted to move to a county place that was more than a tank of gas from a duce & a quarter could reach. Some of you elder folks may know what a duce and a quarter was. Well 42 years later that's no longer the case but even after Kasey selling a lot of my 35 year collection I still could keep the first wave on/in the ground.

It's too late for me, save yourself.

I'm an old poop, ain't going nowhere. Plan is to bug IN. Drop an abatis across the road, arm the claymores. Have kids, grandkids, great grandkids, They understand the plan is "Grab guns, grub and young'uns, head for gramps."

Yes, we have a code phrase that means "Things don't look good. Y'all should all come visit for a bit." What is our phrase? Don't recall seeing any of y'all at Thanksgiving dinner. Ain't saying.

Di Di Mau? Easy and fun to say.

jimdeere - Dude is that a Delta 88? Groovy.

chme - I'm a bugger in, too. Ammo cans are heavy. Besides I got a pile of toilet paper from the panic buy and I ain't gonna leave that for some scavenger.

Yeah, just sort of 'rolls off the tongue'.

Many years ago, Grouch Attack and I were in an 'oriental' buffet place(her choice, not mine). A 3-4 year old babysan was making a nuisance of himself and pestering the customers. As he passed our table making a choo-choo train impersonation, I uttered that term. A waitress heard, grabbed the little pest, and hauled his butt out of sight.

From that moment, we got evil stares from all the restaurant staff . Apparently they didn't appreciate the term or maybe got the message that I wasn't tolerant.
