I bought a complete slide for my gen4 g21 45acp. They said that it will work on my gen4 but it came with a single spring not the dual. And it fits horrible. They said it was for gen1-4.

Any info would be appreciated.
My first question is WHO are They ??? What is the name of the company that produced the item ?
I don't see how you could make it fit better. Can you return it> What was the reason for buying a slide?
@jwntx
This is gonna sound mean and nasty, but I really don't intend it to be that way. There is no quicker way to muck up a Glock than to add crap like that slide to it. It will run, and run really good with the factory parts. The only things I change on mine are to add an extended mag release, an extended slide release, and maybe the sights depending on the gun's use. The slide and mag releases I use are Glock OEM parts that you can order a new gun with. I bought my Glocks used and so had to order the parts and install them.
Who built that slide? That thing is horrendous!
Edit to add; If you bought that thing just for the slide cut I'd recommend putting the factory slide back on, sell the gun, and then pick up a Gen 5 MOS. It may cost you a few more dollars, but it'll save you a kiester-load of frustration.
So you have an aftermarket slide. It obviously doesn't fit correctly.
I would put the gun back as original. The slide,you can talk to seller and try to return it. Or you can keep it and try it on other models you may get in the future. Or you can sell it as is for what you can get. Sorry you went through this hassle. Good luck.
