Now I know why Paul Walker in the movie "The Fast And The Furious" asked for "no crust"

It's been like decades since I had Wonder "bread". I made some egg salad with a bit of mustard (German style). Had some old eggs that needed cooked and it's been racoon age since I made that, too. So left the crust on the sand-o and the crust is bitter. I'm wondering was it always bitter? Or is it just me? I know I'm bitter. So the next batch I'll have to cut the crust before making the sand-o.
Also my beef will be strong. I think I'll get some liverwurst, too. Glad I pretty much work alone and live alone.

Maybe time to buy fresh loaf of 🍞
Hard to spread cold butter on Wonder Bread. Have to toast it first.
I even keep a stick of butter out on the kitchen counter, but our cool mornings around here still make it turn soft bread into a shredded mass of starchy white glop!
The bread I buy these days could temporarily patch roof shingles! At 5 bucks a loaf and sometimes more, I figure it is a health conscious purchase to fiberize my lower innards.
Toss the butter In a microwave for a few seconds( or melted )then spread it on
We keep some on the counter most of the time it stays soft and easy to spread
As for the crust I never noticed any crust biter taste , we buy wonder bread and several other brands not to chosie but my wife buys and likes the 12 grain style healty bread as for me what ever is in the bread box is good enought
