Made it back from Virginia after almost one month. Trip was a living hell. Willie Jr. had lots of fun. My flip phone did not work in house in Kent's Store. Verizon has been saying for 12 years they will put up new cell tower. Liars. Liars, Liars. Grass was five feet tall so I cut problem areas in three acres with lawn tractor. Highest setting, blow with big Red Max 4 inches of leaves and trash, neglected for over two years, dropped blades and blow again. I now have a hernia from swinging Red Max for days. Hernia about size of egg at low r. abdomen. If it starts to hurt they will have to operate. Flat tire and replaced belts on lawn tractor. Well pump burned up and had to replace. No one wants to cut and bail three acres. Too small. My good friend and neighbor bush hogged some of it. Any suggestions from you folks on how to get rid of this grass???????????? One day after I arrived home, puter broke down. Corrupt Profile and geek had to create new one. Cost me $190. Next use after Windows update I lost profile. Rocky is right. Go to H Microsoft and Bill Gates. Took me two hours to figure how to use email again this morning.

Will have much more to say about trip to Virginia later and missed all you folks on the "Forum" —————————Ray

I will probable go right back and wear a hernia belt. forgot to say horrific back pain. Fell off stack of double t beams about 20 feet high with ace/oxygen hoses wrapped around me at 18. My uncle was crane foreman and he thought I was dead. No one in medical profession has helped me. Been every where seeking help. Had a MRI last Friday. Not sure what my next move will be. Have Randy's tips on back pain. —————————————Ray

Learned something new down in Kent's Store. Black snakes (king) are good climbers. Cleaned up back yard around huge oak tree and next day this fella crawled out of tall grass and climbed up this monster oak tree. There was a hollow about 18 feet up and he poked his head in for a look see and crawled right in. I suppose he was looking for eggs or baby birds or maybe to take a nap from hot sun. Over 2 years ago I flushed out Japanese hornets (look like huge yellow jackets) from hollow with hose. ———————Ray

Black Snake. Most likely a den tree for them.

Huge oak here that had the top broken out many years ago, hollow for sure. Home to many of them. Drive by on an early spring day rascals were hanging everywhere.

I have seen them climb walls on a block building.

Sell it. No can do. Deeded it to my daughter the horse lady. I have lifetime living rights. Too many memories. House and most of land was Mom/Dads. Daughter wants to take her horses and family and move there. She is tired of the cold and Communist State of NY. ————————Ray

Large oak tree in back yard after i cleaned up trash and 5 ft of grass around it. Same tree that Black snake climbs to get in hollow about 18 ft up. Grass in background not cut yet.

Have a large persimmon to left of oak. Love to watch deer stand on hind legs and grab them from low branches and fight over those on ground in the fall. I stand in sun room at door about 30 ft away and watch.

Willie Jr. had lots of fun and made himself right at home. Took over my chair when not in his cage. —————-Ray

10 x 20 shed on rear lot after i cleaned up. Lost about half of cherry tree to winter storm on left. Hope it does not die. Shed was built by Johnathan of JZ Barns in Rural Retreat, Virginia. Vey sad story. He was such a nice Amish man. and three little boys knee high when I bought shed. At very early age he got Cancer, then stroke and Cancer came back and killed him. His brother delivered (long trip) shed with a F-350 Ford and custom trailer. Only lost couple shingles. I understand three sons and mom now run the business.

I purchased back lot from Under Sheriff in '93 with a 46' Mobile home and extra room. Quite a few years back I demolished it. Was nice for many years and my sweetheart Diane and I stayed in it when visiting Mom/Dad.—————-Ray

LR, if only I could pick up my house in Monroe, NY and drop it on my property in Virginia. So many memories. ———————-Ray

You could always rent your house and buy a modular… plenty of room for everyone then.
