In these movies they're trying to sell the earth is "hollow". I'm thinking wouldn't the oceans fill it? I'm sure there may be some pockets of dry cave/dome but with the plates moving that wouldn't stay that way. At least in these movies there isn't a "sun" in the hollow earth like in that Nazis from the dark side of the moon "Iron Sky". Don't get me wrong I love that silly movie. Any movie where you got Hitler riding a T-Rex is viewing magic.
