I won’t go into how the Supreme Court ruled it was illegal for a president to relieve student loans.
Bottom line: if you take out a loan and don’t pay it back, your what we use to call, a DEADBEAT, period.

I do not get the whole issue other than trying to buy votes…

My sons completed their undergrad degrees owing zero upon completion. We made sure both of our sons were able to do this by planning accordingly.

One of my sons went on to Graduate School and received a useful degree which allows him to care for his family and do well overall. He took on some Student Loans along the way which he is paying off as quickly as possible. He and I were talking the other day, he said he does not get it either.

You apply for the loan, promise to pay it back. So what is the issue.

I put myself through college too……those people took out loans….they can pay them back. It's their own fault if they overpaid for useless degrees.

    Bottom line is:

Buying votes. Brandon is doing lots of kissing (lieing) right now and so is Kamala.

Trump says THEY are giving Brandon performance enhancing drugs by vaccination's to Brandon's behind so as to make him stronger for the debate.

When I went to the University of MO, and when many of us here went to colleges or Universities, it cost $100 tuition per semester and maybe $150 for books. Now you can buy a car for what a year in college cost. Just saying: Times have changed.

Really great racket: Borrow money to attend college. Party, play, and 😴. End up with no skills, no real education, and no future. Get all that loan money written off by Depends Joe. Heckuvadeal IMHO.

My kids went to college on scholarships and their own funds. Got degrees in subjects that had some actual promise of a job. Two of three don't actually have jobs in the field of their degree but that doesn't change the fact that they have jobs and retain at least some of the knowledge acquired from college. Now, the taxes they're paying are funding the deadbeat students who don't have an education or a future.

This reminded me to see if I can find "Soul Man" a C. Thomas Howell (Robert from "Red Dawn") movie. Being white and doing "black face" it might be hard to find. I wonder if anyone went all undercover brotha to get an education for real? I know a white she-devil went and got a tan to get a job at a collage.

I still remember writing the last check for my final semester of graduate school in 1982. It was $745.00 which included books. In 2013, I wrote a check that was just North of 10,000 not including books to cover my youngest son's final semester.

    Times certainly have changed.

Colleges and Universities are big business, they’re in it for the money. Their total capital worth is: $890,000,000,000, and they don’t pay taxes. They should be held accountable for their miss leading of students to take loans and class with no viable future.

My sons best friend in high school went to several colleges and got post graduate degrees in subjects I never knew that degees were offered in that field. He was deep in debt and could not find employment for his degree. He ended up going back to a trade school and was hired quickly at a well paying job where you get your hands dirty.

Well said. They should also except the fact that they got themself in debt and it’s up to them to pay it off.
That’s a very nice job you did on your fireplace.

Thank you. It took me 10 weeks to build. 3,000 bricks and 7 tons of stone. I was in good shape when I finished that job.

No argument here. Learning a trade gives you more than just the skills for the job. You learn all kinds of other things that will help you thru life.

They should just cancel the worthless degrees.
