Anyone shoot one of these?

How bad is the recoil with the 410?

I haven't heard of the shells sticking like that. I didn't know that they made .410 ammo specifically for handguns.

I have not fired the S&W, but have fired a couple examples of the Judge in 3 and 6 inch models. Recoil was not bad at all. A Buckshot load had a little more snap to it.

I have one, they are 2.5in only on the Smith unlike the Taurus that you can get either a 2.5 or 3in. I thought the recoil is pretty mild, alot less than I was expecting.

I have a derringer in .45 Colt / .410 - 2.5inch. Heavy .45 Colt ammo really lets you know you shot something hot. .410s are wimpy.

Shot around half a dozen governors and got great groups with both ACP & 45LC. Likes so much bought one. With the 410 slugs, there is more noticeable recoil.

Taurus was OK with shotshells, but had problems with 45 LC loads keyholing. S&W is far superior & it is not a Taurus.
