A really bad batch of primers

I ordered up 1000 large pistol primers from White River. Made in the USA, I figured I'd give them a try.
I ended up having a conversation with the supplier to replace them because the entire brick was way mis-sized and often failed to ignite.
I measured the primers at .130 to .135 inches tall. That is so far out of spec for a large pistol primer it's hard to believe. Turns out, this is a common problem with White River and has been for years.
So, should you be considering them for your next batch of primers, be careful. My experience, and the experience of others, says you can do better.

I am well stocked with lpp. However I am always looking for a deal. White River should make you whole.
Was the automated machine made in China?
😂.
Hard to say. White River says "made in the USA" but they don't say where they bought their machinery or who they employ to work it.
The company I bought from is sending me a brick of CCI. I know I can trust those.

Thanks for the heads up. I never heard of them, but that appears to be no loss.
