went to mailbox to get mail and the dog wandered across street to neighbors yard and just looked at me when I was telling him to get back over in our yard. I walked across the street and of course he ran right back into our yard. then In the middle of the street I looked down and saw a folded up bill, on opening it up it was a $2 bill, what was strange was I had just been to the bank to get 20 more, as I gave the last two away this morning to a young waitress for breakfast, and the bank was out of them, I give them out as tips, to folks with little kids, and pay off my golf bets with them, then I go to mailbox and find one in the street, guess its gonna be one of those days………..

The end times are upon us I went out to get the mail and my dog while visiting her stray cat buddy pointed me towards a Kennedy half dollar. Do you think our dogs email ?

flogger that is even stranger, as the fellow at the bank did say he had a roll of 50 cent pieces and ask me if I would want those instead of $2 bills…. as far as the dogs go mine spends to much time sleeping and licking his hiney to get anything done on the computer.

    Mark it before spending it.

At least it wasn't a three dollar bill.😉

Nice find, not to one up but last week where I take my stray dog twice a day to the abandoned community park. She wandered to a spot and lay down. After a time I told her time to leave, she didn't move so I grab the dog lease and get up to her and there lays a $ Jefferson. Picked it up and then she was ready to go. Go figure. 🙂

    Always nice to find money.

I picked up a $ 100.00 bill coming out of a restaurant a few years ago and asked the guy a few feet in front of me if it was his. Surprisingly, it was.

What are the odds of the first person you see being the one who lost the hundo?

    Edit:

This is a true story. Perhaps I projected my reaction upon the guy, as if it were me and I had not dropped the bill, I would have turned it down. I still hope that it was his, and it might have been.

It was only after I got home that I entertained doubt.

I would have asked him to provide the serial number to prove it was his. 😁

A few years ago a little old lady checked out of Grocery Outlet ahead of me. Walking out in the same direction I followed her to her car and asked "Are you missing anything?" She looked at me suspiciously and I said "Honestly did you lose something?" She checked her purse, turned white and literally stammered "My hundred dollar bill." several times. I just smiled and gave it to her. Life is good. When you go to bed at night ya' gotta wake up with yourself….
