More Critters in the yard lately...

We are completely out of draught conditions here in Central MO. I had to contact MDOT a few weeks back to get them to cut the ditches nearby as you could not see from our road to enter the Highway. As it has been wet, the fence rows and set aside land around our place is green and thick..
There seems to be a bumper crop of rabbits this year. They are everywhere up and down our place and around the yard. More turtles in the yard than ever before, sure enjoy seeing them make their way across the yard. Have stopped and moved a few of the road again lately too.
The deer all over the beanfield every night. Waiting for the bucks to show up to get some pics of them soon…
I sure enjoy critters !

I can see how the turtles could be a mowing issue never even thought about it ,we have never seen one in our yard
We did gain a few rabbits late last year 1st ones in 30 + years
Wife told me she had seen some younger ones a few weeks back
We have about 2 acres ( we only have 5 total) . we let just go wild with a couple paths thru it.
My wife's idea some years ago for the butterfly's and wildlife to have a place
And just a quiet place to sit and enjoy the outdoors
It must be a down year for bunnies around our place but the does and fawns have been here multiple times a day. Fawns are a lot bigger than they were 6 weeks ago. One momma leaves her twins here and goes off for 2 or 3 hours. She probably needs the peace and quiet!😁
Sorry for the bad pic. They always seem to be there when the sun glares on the window. We also have a couple of turkey momma's visiting about every day with their batch of young ones. Like you, Judy and I really enjoy seeing the critters and we never know what we will see next. Bob
Very nice pics. I like looking out and seeing wildlife
Always enjoy the pictures, and update of what's going on around your neck of the woods.
Emergency lawn vittles. If biden gets 4 more years they'll be "what's for dinner".
