Neighbors had my back

Got a message from my neighbors down on my river lot on Wednesday afternoon. My camper was there and river was expected to get up about 12 feet in the next 20 hours.
Got down there and moved the camper to higher ground. On a side note I was a little miffed that the gentleman that allowed me to park the camper on his lot asked if I wanted him to back the camper for me. I proceeded to back it about 150 feet, no issues.
My camper had been tucked into the trees between the two cabins in the pic.

Men are generally better at these mechanical tasks than women are.
He was just being a gentleman.
Nice to see folks looking out for each other.
From here that looks like Cajun country without the gators 😉, yea, I think the guy was just trying to be a Gentleman, I'm guilty of making statements like that myself, this ole Southern guy just can't get a grip on this New World Order thing 😕

I was taught manners by my mother, and to this day still use them. I know women can do everything I can. I would still hold the door for you.
I'm all for chivalry, holding my door, walking the street side of the walk, etc., so I was just a little miffed. 😆
Good neighbors create good neighbors. That’s why I live in small towns…sense of community, wholesome values, and work ethic from an early age.
The river is to the left and typically about 10 feet below the bank behind the trees. There is a berm into which I back my camper with bumper nearly on the ground. Water would have been at least a foot or more inside my camper.
Mosquitoes were bad before. They will be awful now. Rained yesterday and more forecast next week. It may be mid August before I can safely move the camper back down.
When it's safe do you need some help moving the camper back down, oops 😮……………………..😉

neo has a new truck he needs to get dirty, not sure how good at backing he is though……… maybe he will let you drive it
I'll never turn down assistance in cranking down the scissor jacks while I sit inside away from the mosquitoes.
He can get it dirty for sure. I'll back it while he ground guides. Again, the mosquitoes. 🤣
