Our local gun shop here in the North East corner of Kalifornia is giving a 5% discount on all fire arms and ammo that is affected by the recently imposed 11% state tax. Jeff is a fine man and has been in business for 21 years. If yer ever passin' through Susanville, stop in and say Howdy. Heck, I might even be in the store swappin' and toppin' stories with sum of the regulars.

I don't think many folks would travel to save 5%. Dude would be in trouble if folks did.
Would I be allowed to leave California armed? Or at all?
Wish him well, DEMOCRATs in CA are making it clear they are going to use every means necessary to shutter every firearms store in CA.
Well sure Chief, if only cops and crooks are armed, everyone else will be perfectly safe.
I did say "If you are passin' through". Two main highways from Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Western Ca. go through town to reach Reno, Nv. Biggest little city in the world. And hot August Nights, the big gun show and the great Reno Rodeo. People come from all over the West to Fish Eagle Lake, Lake Almanor and Antelope lake for trophy trout and bass. So, if you are runnin' low on yer .25 Beretta, stop by. I might even take you 4 wheeling and show you a bear or two…..
You could leave yer stuff with me and use it each time you visited.
Good man, I knew I could count on you! I'll be in Monterey in Sept. Could you run it down?
Yes but I hear newsome is trying to get an "Exit Tax" from the flee-ers.
elubsme - Free folks wouldn't be stopping by California for what they could buy cheaper in their coming from state. Good luck with the scheme though.
