What to make this weekend?
Just bruised through the grocery sales ad. Safeway has Petrale Sole on sale, Lucky has chicken drum stick or thighs buy one get one free deal and Vallarta (the other Mexican supermarket) has chuck on sale. Kind a curious if their chuck is as tender as Santa Fe. I may buy one and freeze it and try it next week?
I could plan to fry up Petrale Sole and just in case they don't get any because of "weather" or bad planning I could fry up chicken legs. Mmmm fried chicken. Break out "My Cousin Vinny" for the bar scene where a dude sucks a drum stick clean in one mouth pull. That reminds me I wonder where i placed that movie?
Maybe I'll fry up some gizzards? Haven't done that in a great long while. Usually I just curry that with lots of sliced onions.

As for cleaning the chicken bones I worked with a fellow ( side note he did comit suicide later on ) he would polish chicken bones cleaner than any ant hill could. then break them.open and eat the marrow .
I know it was for not lack of money maybe just old habits from his youth but eating lunch with him was always an adventure

That's gonna take a while. Better pack a case of beers instead of a 12 pack. Hell a pony keg might be needed if you got other folks for fire watch.
Ditch-Runner - I don't know about eating the marrow but I like the cartilage. It's a texture thing. Sitting there crunching away. Dude you don't know what's good. Chicken gizzards are good. Look even a mod likes them.
So while I was a town over at the other Mexican supermarket looking for chuck. It turned out to be thinner so I'm curious to the other differences. I picked up couple of beef kidneys. Should've bought more but they'll be snacks. Actually since I already ate one definitely snack.
