What is your goal ? Do you have a few items to sell, or are you looking to make a business of it?
You don't have to have a FFL just to sell here.
@aydubyabee
Thanks guys going to pursue the FFL. Have the docs to fill out and send etc. I have a few items to sell in hopes of purchasing more and then reselling. I am passionate about firearms and looking forward to having fun with it primarily. Looks like there are some awesome used items in this marketplace and could be a good opportunity for some deals.
Also, do you need an FFL to post magazines only on GB?
The basic answer is NO unless it is required in the State you live in… Before you start selling you will need to familiarize with what States have bans on certain magazines. An issue selling Magazines is dealing with Bidders from States where there are bans on certain mags. IL, CA, MS, NY and others have strict restrictions. The biggest frustration I have had in the past was listing magazines for sale and in the listing writing I would not sell to individuals living in those States where they were not legal.
And folks from those States would bid anyway. They also sent some pretty immature emails with requests I would not honor such as sending them to someone they knew that lived in a nearby State…
Good luck with you auctions in the future…
thanks for the advice
To add on to what @montanajoe and @William81 have said, to be clear you do not have to have an FFL to sell almost anything that is allowed on GB, but as William81 said the buyers have to have an FFL or use a receiving FFL that will accept items from a non-FFL seller and that is not only State specific, but also depends on what the item is and some FFLs just don't want to deal with it, others will but usually require a copy of at State ID for their records. Do your research and then do some more, laws are very much in flux these days and although you can get very good information here, it is not guaranteed to be timely. accurate and up to date in all situations. Good luck and welcome aboard!

AWB refers to the Assault Weapons Ban enacted by Clinton in 1994, which restricted sale of certain guns and magazines. Does that have something to do with your name?

Don't want to break Federal law? Still gaining wisdom grasshopper.
Ive posted two items so far and I cant find them in the search results. Does it get buried way down, or does gb filter and promote your items systematically. Just curious since im new. How long usually does it take on average to get a few watchers.
